CNT and Blood Borne Pathogen Review Course
The CCAOM is now offering a CEU course exclusively through the Council’s website. This course has been accepted by NCCAOM and will offer 4 PDA points towards the CEU safety requirement for NCCAOM Diplomates, and can be completed in the convenience of your office or home, on your own schedule.
This continuing education course provides up-to-date information on bloodborne pathogens, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and safe practice, and is intended for licensed acupuncturists. The course reviews epidemiological data on hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and the human immunodeficiency virus, and provides updated information relating to emergency procedures and clean needle technique.
(NOTE: This course does not substitute for the Clean Needle Technique course, which is a requirement for NCCAOM certification and licensure in most states.)
To take this course, simply click on the link below, print out the pdf file, and follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please call the CCAOM national office
