Hatha Yoga

This “traditional eastern” yoga class integrates postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), deep relaxation (15 minute Yoga Nidra) and healing visualization. Experience peace and your ability to relieve tension without strain.


Walk in: $20

Enrollment Fee: Hatha Yoga  $70.00 4 class series (4 consecutive weeks)

                           8 class series - $140

Chair Exercise/Self Massage for Seniors 

Time:Monday 11am-12pm (or 10:30-11:30am)

Fee:  $60.00 4 class series (4 consecutive weeks)


            Participants will learn techniques of self massage and gentle movement which can be done in a chair to help ease joint and muscle pain, and to reduce the increased levels of stress that may come with the aging process. The application of techniques to increase blood flow and decrease joint pain has proven effects on the nervous system and blood circulation, two of the most vulnerable systems of the body as we age. Various modalities will be introduced. “Health, balance and vitality are available. Just feeling great is available!!”, Linda.


Yoga Nidra and Pranayama Practice  

Time:Wednesday 11am-12pm (or 10:30-11:30am)

Fee:   $60.00 4 class series (4 consecutive weeks)


            This class introduces deep peace and awareness through Yoga Nidra, the conscious awareness of the deep-sleep state. It is a science, beneficial in relieving tension, anxiety and stress on all levels. As such, it supports overall good health. Explore this ancient yoga science and achieve a more peaceful state. This process lasts about 30-40 minutes to get maximum results. In addition, this class will introduce Pranayama Practice. This is the practice of breath control, used to still the mind and impart more oxygen to the blood and cells, refreshing the body with energy and life. Prana means 'life-force' and yama is the observance of the life force. Linda has 43 years experience in this practice.


 Meditation and Self Healing

Time:Thursday 11am-12pm (or 10:30-11:30am)

Fee:   $60.00 4 class series (4 consecutive weeks)


             This is an introduction to the practice of meditation and healing, which can applied to our daily lives. In this class, Linda encourages participants to “embrace the universal flow of energy already present within”. This class will aid in living a life of peace, health and balance, through guided visualization, relaxation strategies, and breath control (Pranayama). These techniques will result in benefits for mind, body and spirit. We will also incorporate an understanding the body's energy field and its chakras… The essence of healing lies with in each of us. Together we will awaken and share in this universal gift.

Linda Cali,LMT, NCTMB is a Healing Arts Practitioner. Linda has taught Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Self Healing and Yoga Nidra, throughout the Rockland, NY and NJ areas to thousands of students since 1977. Linda has taught privately, corporately and in Ramapo Central School District,  Clarkstown School District, Robert Yeager Health Complex, Rockland Community College and Nanuet Continuing Education. She was an affiliate at the United Nations for 5 years in the capacity of Yoga and Meditation Instructor. Linda has over twenty years’ experience as a Massage Therapist with the ability to understand and address a client’s special requirements. She is also a former hospice worker, which has imparted it’s own life wisdom.
